Core Values Series

Commissioned for the Academy of the Sacred Heart New Orleans campus.

Watercolor paintings created in collaboration with designer Tom Futrell for a series of campus signs reflecting the five core values of Sacred Heart Schools: faith, intellect, integrity, community, and growth.

This series of watercolor paintings was created to serve as the visual foundation for a campus-wide signage project highlighting Academy of the Sacred Heart school’s five core values. The client sought imagery that felt contemporary, emotional, and spacious—something that would quietly support reflection.

Working from provided reference images and drawn to symbolic architectural elements, I created composite watercolor works that blend observation and imagination. Iconic school motifs, such as the Très Bien card and sacred heart symbols, were woven into the compositions. Graphic designer Tom Futrell then integrated the paintings with clean, thoughtful layout and typography, resulting in a collaborative design that is now displayed throughout the school’s interior spaces.
